This product is the Wireless Transmit button and Speaker Mic only. To use with a Helmet you will require a suitable helmet kit which can be found under the Accessories and Spares tab.

Can use virtually any wired helmet system you prefer. Your existing headset (we can supply an adaptor lead) or one of our off-the-shelf solutions. You can even build your own, we supply a schematic at no charge. Connects to the wireless PTT by a standard 3.5mm jack plug. Remove your helmet and unplug the helmet from the speaker Mic and you still have comms via the speaker Mic. The communications stays with the rider.
Bar Mounted PTT
A small but weatherproof wireless PTT is attached to your handlebars byVelcro or tie-wrap. Fitted with a lifetime battery. This transmits the PTT command to the Speaker-Mic which has and internal radio-powered receiver.
The PTT on the radio and on the Speaker Mic remain active when you leave the bike so you can continue a conversation when you leave the bike. No wires to remember to unplug, no loss of functionality when you leave the bike.
The unit is powered via the radio earpiece socket so there are no batteries and no charging. The PTT has an internal battery and is rated for 100,000 transmits. Replacement PTT's are available.
Only available for Kenwood radios. Only Kenwood radios provide phantom power to power external devices. (Will not work with the Kenwood Funkey LBZ-LJ8 or Wouxun or Baofeng radios.)
