Applications / Other Information
The TLKR-T7 pair come with two NiMH batteries and Twin 16 hour trickle charger. Use either the Motorola battery pack, your own rechargeables or AAA Alkaline disposable batteries.
Transmit without pressing buttons. If using plug in accessories they must be designed for VOX use. Adjust VOX sensitivity and or Mic sensitivity to get best results. A radio left in this mode will transmit automatically when noise is detected above a preset level. This makes it usable as a security device.
Key lock locks the keypad to prevent accidental channel change. The radio can me set to monitor all eight channels. Useful if you are part of a large group of radios.
Roger Beep; When you release the PTT button short bleep is transmitted alerting the other party that they can reply. Most users find this either very annoying or very useful.
Call Tone; Pressing this button will make other radios ring like a phone. Useful when the other parties are in noisy places.
