Push-To-Talk Identification.
Each time a radio transmits its ID is displayed on all receiving radios which have a display.
Uses
- Most radios will have a call logging so you can see missed calls.
- Useful to identify misuse.
- Used to direct private calls and texts.
PTT ID is intrinsic to digital radios however you will need at least one display radio or desktop client to make use of the information.
