Improving Bike to Bike Range

DO
- Carry the radio as high as possible. In backpack, tank bag or top box.
- Mount the radio vertically, so the aerial is pointed skyward.
- If you radio allows it then fit an external antenna. A dedicated bike antenna is ideal.
DON'T
- Hide the radio under the seat (Unless you are using an external aerial).
- Lay the radio on its side. The antenna should be vertical.
- Allow the radio to get wet. Put it in a poly bag, bag opening downward.
